The compilation instructions for SHMETX
Supplying prices of Shanghai base metals(Copper、Aluminum、Lead、Zinc、Tin、Nickel). The quality standards of the six metals measure up those of LME and SHFE or meet a criterion accepted by the same market.
Each variety has 3 to 5 sampling companies which quote prices every day that cover big turn volumes, minutely different varieties. The sampling average prices just come from the mean prices of the high and low prices.
Their turnovers maintain more than 100 million continuously. The companies have good reputation, great pricing abilities and consciousness of going after high quality services. They are confirmed by signing of Shanghai Metals Exchange (“SHMET”) and adjusted a quarter if necessary. And we publish the companies with SHMETX. Sampling companies must provide metal prices objectively, timely and reasonably, and have the ability to supply goods.
In view of the scales of different varieties, the domestic consumption of the varieties in the preceding year which is proclaimed by authority is the weighing parameters of the varieties (Qcu, Qal, Qpb, Qzn, Qsn, Qni).
